Mark attended night classes at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles in 1971. There he studied life drawing and illustration. After being employed as a graphic artist for a number of years in Southern California. He move to Northern Nevada, where he worked as a painting framer in a local gallery and frame shop.
Mark then began teaching painting classes for both adults and children. After a number of years he became an art instructor at the local Community College in Douglas County NV. He also concurrently taught classes through the Parks and Recreation Department. Mark currently teaches painting classes at the Carson Valley Musuem and at Brewery Arts Center in Carson City NV. Mark has over 55 years of art experience. Mark's preferred medias are watercolors, acrylics and oils. With a special emphisis on Pets, Landscapes, Seascapes, and WIldlife. Over his career Mark has won countless awards and competitions with his art. Mark continues to enjoy painting and looks forward to being commisioned by YOU to paint a portrait of YOUR pet.

A digital image of the pet must be provide via email. Turn around time is usaully 2 weeks. Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail.
